YOUR JOB IS TO FIND THE HIDDEN TREASURE ON THE CANTON
VILLAGE MAP. JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY AND MEASURE CAREFULLY.
ALL MEASUREMENTS SHOULD BE IN INCHES TO THE NEAREST SIXTEENTH.
- Draw the locus of points 1 in. from the line that represents Route 68. (Use
RED to outline)
- Find the point at the intersection of Spears Street and Hammond Drive. (Label
this Q)
Question 1 Describe fully the red locus drawn in step one.
Question 2 What is the distance from point Q to the red locus that runs through
the south side of town?

- Find the church on Court Street which is north of the courthouse. Using
the square base of this church as a point draw the locus points (answer
to question 2) units from this point. (Use YELLOW to outline)
- Find the point just below the word Ramoda from Ramoda Drive. Draw the locus
of points less than the answer to question 2 units from this
point.(Use PURPLE to outline)
Question 3 Describe fully the yellow locus.
Question 4 Describe fully the purple locus.
Question 5 On how many points do these two loci intersect.
