Canton Central School District is seeking dynamic individuals to join our faculty and staff. Located in St. Lawrence County, the District is home to St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton. We are ten miles from Potsdam which is home to Clarkson University and SUNY Potsdam.

Canton Central School has the following openings for the 2026-27 School Year

- Senior Account Clerk
Interested candidates should submit a civil service application, cover letter, resume, and letters of recommendation no later than 12:00pm on August 3, 2026.
Minimum Qualifications, either
- Possession of an Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration;
OR
- Compeltion of sixty (60) credit hours at a NEw York State regionally accredited college or univiersity which must have included at least twelve (12) credit hours in accounting or bookkeeping; OR
- Graduation from high school, possession of a high school dquivalency diploma or possession of an Individial Education Plan diploma and two (2) years of experience maintaining financial accounts and records.
Your degree must have been awarded by a colelge or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialzied agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded b y an educational instittution outside of the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. A list of acceptable companies who provide this service can be found on the internet at Acceptable Companies. You must pay the required evalution fee.
Additonal Employment INformation: This position is currently being filled unthe HELP Program and will not require an examination at this time.
