NYS Center for School Health 30 day school physical notice: 
We continue to follow Commissioner's Regulations 136.3 (c)(1)(iii), which requires schools to notify the parent/guardians of any student who does not present a health certificate within the 30 days from the start of the
school year for new entrants and students entering into Grades Pre-K or K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, & 11 that if the required health certificate is not furnished within 30 days from the date of such notice, the director of school health services
shall conduct an examination by health appraisal of the student; We will allow additional time for parents/guardians to obtain a health examination from a private healthcare provider before scheduling an appraisal with the director of school health services (a.k.a. medical director) if private healthcare providers are unavailable due to the COVID crisis. We will not schedule health appraisals with the medical director until early 2021.
 
You will be contacted prior to any in school physicals occur to have your child scheduled or to resend private physician physical. Please do not send any physicals to school unless one is requested.
